SB826 law in California, signed by Governor Brown in September of 2018, requires public companies to have a minimum of three women corporate directors.

Betsy originated the law and NAWBO-California led the seven-year campaign to get the law passed.  As a result, 200 women directors were added to CA corporate boards in 2019, and another 600 women will be added by year-end 2021!
